Butter Beans Sundal - Day 4 Navratri

Today is Day 4 of Navaratri. This is dedicated to the fourth avatar of Goddess Durga - Kushmanda. She is believed to be the creator of the Universe. The name of the Goddess is a combo of three words — Ku means 'little', Ushma means 'warmth or energy' and Anda means 'egg'. It signifies the one who created this universe as a 'little cosmic egg'. She is supposed to be so powerful that she glows like the sun.

It is believed that worshiping this Goddess will bring fortune, luck & positivity.

That's a small story on the significance of Day 4 in Navaratri. Coming to the food, in frame is the Butter Beans Sundal (Mochai Sundal) that I offered as prasadam to Goddess today.
