When you are craving to eat something sweet but you really wanna make something so quick, what do you do? If you ask me the same, I would answer, "make the instant doodh peda and satisfy your taste buds" 😀😀.
So today's post is on the Instant Doodh Peda. The traditional one is time-consuming (though the end result is awesome) as it requires the milk to be boiled for hours to evaporate and get the milk solids and also the desired consistency. This instant one just takes ten minutes if you have all the ingredients handy.
Let's get on to the post.
Ingredients:
Milk Powder 1 cup
Sugar 1/2 cup
Cardamom 1 pod
Milk 1/4 cup
Ghee 2 to 3 tsp
Grated Badam a few
Method:
1. Powder the sugar along with Cardamom into a fine powder.
2. Heat ghee in a pan. Add milk to it.
3. Next add milk powder and saute it well. Do not brown it.
4. Next add the powdered sugar. Keep stirring until it thickens.
5. Allow it to cool for 5 minutes. Then apply ghee in your hand and form small balls.
6. Flatten it lightly with thumb.
7. Sprinkle some nuts over it. And enjoy !
