When life gives you green chillies, make an instant green chilli pickle 😅.
We had a fresh harvest of green chillies from our mini home garden. Look at the chillies we harvested.

Ingredients:
Green Chilli 1 cup
Mustard Powder 2 tsp
Fenugreek Powder 1 tsp
Fennel Powder 1 tsp
Cumin Powder 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Juice from 1 lemon
Sesame Oil 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Method:
Discard the stems of the chillies. Then make a slit.
Heat sesame oil in a pan. When the oil starts to smoke, switch off the flame and allow it to cool.
Add the green chillies, mustard powder, fenugreek powder, salt, turmeric powder and asafoetida to a bowl. Mix well.
Add sesame oil. Mix it thoroughly.
Add lime juice, mix well and allow it to marinate for 2 to 3 days. Shake it well once a day so that the oil coats the chillies.
Use it as an accompaniment for rotis / rice.
