Today's post is a yummy Matar Paneer. I paired this with roti. I made the dough for the roti using the Atta Kneader of the Prestige #ttkprestige Wet Grinder and I tried making the roti using the Prestige Roti Maker. ** Recipe **
Ingredients:
Paneer 1 cup
Peas 1 cup
Onion 2 big
Tomatoes 3
Milk 1 cup
Ginger 1 inch
Garlic pod 1 or 2
Green Chilli 1
Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder 1 tsp
Cumin Powder 1 tsp
Coriander Powder 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves few
Kasuri Methi few
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Ghee
Method:
Blend tomatoes into a fine puree and keep it aside.
Heat ghee / oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, ginger, garlic & green chilli.
When they start spluttering, add the chopped onions. Saute until they turn translucent.
Next add the tomato puree. Saute until the gravy thickens.
Add turmeric powder, salt, cumin powder, garam masala powder & coriander powder. Saute for 5 minutes.
Add the paneer cubes & the boiled green peas.
Mix well. Allow the paneer and the peas to blend well.
Add milk. Saute well and allow it to simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
Switch off the flame. Garnish with Coriander leaves & Kasuri Methi.
Serve with a yummy Pulao or roti 😊.
