Today's post is Red Chilli Chutney which is a great accompaniment to idli / dosa. It is very easy to make and very tasty too. I paired it with idli and it was awesome 😅
Ingredients:
Onion 1
Red Chillies 4 to 5
Tamarind little
Salt to taste
Mustard Seeds 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida
Method:
In a pan, add oil. Saute chopped onions until translucent. Keep them aside.
Next add red chillies and tamarind. Saute them in a little oil for a minute.
Transfer the sauted onions (step 1), sauted red chillies, tamarind (step 2) to a jar. Add a little salt and grind them into a thick paste adding little water.
Tadka the chutney with mustard seeds.
