Gazpacho


Today's post is Spanish Gazpacho. It is a cold soup made up of raw veggies. It is full of flavours and is widely eaten in Spain & Portugal particularly during hot summers as it is refreshing and cool.


Gazpacho originates from the Andalusian region of Spain.It is a soup that is made from pureed ripened tomatoes, and other vegetables with a few spices. They can be served in a bowl or a mug. Many places in Spain serve gazpacho in glasses with a straw.


Ingredients:


Tomatoes 3 big

Onion 1 small

Cucumber 1/2 peeled

Green Bell Pepper 1 small

Garlic 1 pod

Cumin Powder 1 tsp

Pepper powder

Bread 1

Lime juice 1 or 2 tsp

Salt to taste


Method:

Blend everything to a fine puree. Top it with bread, few onions, green bell pepper. Refrigerate it and serve it chilled.
