Today I'am going to post a very healthy powder called as "Jeerana Podi". "Jeeranam" means "digestion". So this powder is very good to have whenever you have digestive problems. All the ingredients added have health benefits of their own. Let me list out a few benefits.


👉 Dry ginger reduces inflammation, good for weight loss

👉 Pepper prevents constipation and helps in treating respiratory diseases.

👉 Coriander Seeds helps in treating intestinal issues including nausea, bloating and diarrhea.

👉 Cumin Seeds lowers cholesterol, and has anti-cancer properties.

👉 Curry leaves helps in treating nausea and maintains the blood sugar levels.


Ingredients:

Dry ginger 1 inch

Coriander Seeds 1 cup

Pepper 1 tbsp

Cumin Seeds 1 tbsp

Curry leaves a handful


Method:

Dry roast the coriander seeds, pepper, cumin seeds ,dry ginger until they are brown. Then add the curry leaves to it and switch off the flame. Once they cool, blend them into a fine powder without adding water. Transfer it to a airtight box, add salt, mix well and store it.


You can serve this with plain rice and ghee.
