Onion Chutney

Today's post is a simple chutney for idli /dosa. Requires no sauting and can be made in less than 15 minutes.


Let's get on to the post.


Ingredients:

Onions 2

Red Chillies 3 to 4

Tamarind little

Jaggery 1 tsp

Coconut

Salt to taste


Method:

  1. In a mixer jar, grind all the ingredients given under "To grind' into a fine paste without adding water.

  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves. Once they splutter and the dal gets little brown, add it to the chutney.

  3. Mix and serve with idli/dosa.
