Did you know that weight gain and Obesity worsens PCOS symptoms while even a small reduction in weight (as small as 5%) improves insulin resistance, hormone levels & overall life of women with PCOS? Well, it is extremely difficult to lose weight when you have PCOS. However, lifestyle change can definitely help you shed those extra pounds.


One such lifestyle change would be to include millets in your diet. Millets in general are

👉 high on fibre and complex carbohydrate

👉 have low GI


Hence they are very useful in weight management of PCOS Women. They keep you full for a longer time and help you avoid binge-eating. Portion Control and eating the right food is the key, not just for PCOS, but to stay healthy.


Ingredients:


Raw Rice 1 cup

Kodo Poha 1/2 cup

Green Chilli 1

Fenugreek Seeds 1 tsp

Salt to taste


Method:


🌱 Wash the raw rice and Kodo poha thoroughly in water. Then soak them along with green chilli and fenugreek seeds in water for 3 to 4 hours.

🌱 Grind them into a fine batter of pouring consistency.

🌱 Add salt and allow it to ferment for 2 hours.

🌱 Heat a tawa. Pour a ladle of batter, spread evenly, drizzle oil. Cook on both sides.
