Poha Vada

It's raining in Chennai and the weather is so pleasant. How about a nice, tasty, easy and crispy vada(fritters) to satisfy our taste buds that is so delish and made using flattened rice 😅. Yeah, so today's post is Poha Vada (Flattened rice fritters).


Ingredients:


Poha 2 cups

Onion 1

Green Chilli 2

Ginger 1 inch

Coriander Leaves few

Rice flour 3 tsp

Rava (Suji) 3 tsp


Method:


1. Soak poha in water for 5 to 10 minutes. Drain the water and squeeze it completely.

2. To this poha, add chopped onions, chopped ginger, cumin seeds, green chilli, coriander leaves, rice flour, rava and salt. Mix them well.

3. Flatten them into small balls with your palm and deep fry them in oil in medium heat.
