Cauliflower Stir Fry

Cauliflower is one vegetable that I love the most. It can be cooked as per one's taste. It is tantalizing to taste buds indeed.


Imagine Cauliflower being tossed in Indian spices such as pepper, cumin and Garam masala powder. How yummy, isn't it 😎?


So, today's post is a simple Cauliflower Stir fry.


Ingredients:

Cauliflower 1

Green Chilli 1

Ginger 1 inch

Garam Masala Powder 1 tsp

Pepper Powder 1/2 tsp

Cumin Powder 1/2 tsp

Amchur Powder 1/2 tsp

Salt to taste

Curry Leaves few

Coriander Leaves few

Mustard Seeds 1 tsp

Cumin Seeds 1/2 tsp


Method:

  1. Immerse the cauliflower florets in hot water (with salt + turmeric powder) for 15 minutes.

  2. Heat oil in a pan.

  3. Once hot, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and allow it to splutter.

  4. Add chopped ginger, green chilli, curry leaves and coriander leaves. Saute them for a minute.

  5. Add the cauliflower florets.

  6. Add salt. Allow the cauliflower to cook for 5 to 7 minutes in medium flame.

  7. Once cauliflower is cooked, add garam masala powder, amchur powder, cumin powder, pepper powder.

  8. Once the spices blends well with the Cauliflower florets, switch off the flame.

  9. Sprinkle Kasuri methi leaves and garnish with curry leaves / coriander leaves.


This can be had with rice or rolled in a roti as a Frankie or stuffed in a dosa too 😅
