Eggless Basic Sponge Cake in Microwave Convection mode

So this is a basic eggless cake made in microwave convection mode. It requires just 3 tsp of ghee to bake this awesome cake. The cake was soft and moist.


Ingredients:


All purpose flour 2 cups

Whole Wheat Flour 1/2 cup

Powdered Sugar 2 cups

Milk 1 cup

Yogurt / Curd 1 cup

Ghee 3 tbsp

Seedless dates

Baking powder

Baking Soda

Vanilla essence

Cocoa powder 1/2 tsp


Method:


šŸ° In a blender add the powdered sugar and ghee. Blend it for a minute.

šŸ° Next add milk at room temperature and blend it for 30 seconds.

šŸ° Next add yogurt and blend for a minute.

šŸ° Next add seedless dates, vanilla essence and blend it for 5 seconds.

šŸ° Add the sieved flour, baking powder and baking soda and blend it to mix everything together.

šŸ° Grease the baking tray with ghee and all purpose flour.

šŸ° Preheat the microwave in convection mode at 190 degree.

šŸ° Pour the cake batter over the greased baking pan.

šŸ° Sprinkle the cocoa powder.

šŸ° Bake the cake in convection mode for 25 minutes at 190 degree centigrade.
