Nellikai Pachadi (Amla Raita)


Today's post is a very simple raita made with amla. Amla is known as "Indian Gooseberry". It is abundant in Vitamin C and helps

👉 to slow down aging

👉 in fighting cold and cough


It is also rich in antioxidants.I have posted about the amla rasam recently. This is the second recipe using amla. You can also add little coconut but I have omitted it. Let's get on to the post.


Ingredients:

Gooseberry 4

Green Chilli 1

Coriander leaves few

Curd 1 cup

Salt to taste

Mustard Seeds 1 tsp


Method:

1. Slice the gooseberry into pieces. Blend them along with green chilli, coriander leaves and salt.

2. Transfer the above gooseberry paste into a bowl.

3. Add curd to it and mix them well.

4. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds to it.

5. Once they splutter, pour it over the raita.
