Ingredients:
2 packets of Oreo biscuit (20 biscuits)
1 cup milk at room temperature
2 tbsp sugar (optional)
1 tsp baking powder (no need to add more, as the biscuit already contains baking powder)
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ghee
Preparing the Cake batter:
Break the biscuits into two and put it in a mixer jar.
Add sugar, sieved baking powder and sieved baking soda to the above jar.
Crush it well.
Add required milk and blend it into dosa batter consistency.
Add a tsp of ghee or oil and whisk it well.
The cake batter is ready.
Dust the microwave safe bowl with little maida and ghee.
Pour the cake batter onto this bowl.
Baking the cake:
1. Place the bowl in the microwave and bake it for 4 minutes on microwave power level high.
2. After 4 minutes, switch off the microwave.
3. Insert a toothpick into the cake and check if it has baked completely. No piece of cake should be stuck to the toothpick.
4. If yes, then the cake is ready. If not, bake it for one more minute.
5. Switch off the microwave.
6. Allow the cake to cool and then unmould into a plate.
7. Yummy cake is ready.
Note:
1. 5 minutes is enough to bake the cake. If you bake more than that time, then cake will become hard and it might be burnt too.
2. If you wish to do icing, then spread some amul chocospread onto the cake and decorate it with gems.
