Today's post is "Whole Wheat Veggie Cheela". This is a very healthy breakfast / tiffin that can be made very quickly. Since this is loaded with vegetables, it is very nutritious too. This tastes more like the South Indian Wheat dosa (godhumai dosai).
Let's see how to make it.
Ingredients:
Whole Wheat Flour 1 cup
Curd 1/4 cup
Onion 1
Green Capsicum 1 (small)
Carrot 1 small
Sesame Oil
Salt to taste
Method:
In a bowl, add wheat flour, salt and curd. To it, add water little by little. Mix well and make it into a little thicker batter (little thicker than dosa batter).
To this batter, add chopped onions, capsicum, carrots, coriander leaves. Mix well.
Take a ladle of batter, spread it on the hot tawa. Drizzle oil. Cook for a minute on medium flame.
Next, flip it and cook it on the other side. Slightly press the Cheela so that they get cooked well. (You can also cover the tawa with a lid to make it cook evenly)
Atta Cheela is ready. Serve it with any chutney of your choice. I served it with Curry Leaves Chutney.
